SCOPE

Universal Audio, originally founded in 1958, has a legacy of creating iconic music studio devices. While many of UA’s most notable devices have been recreated digitally, hardware is still core to the company’s current and future product offering.

We have partnered with UA on several hardware design programs with the overarching mandate of creating “instant classics.” With this goal, we had access to UA’s rich library of designs and details to pull from, as well as access to premium materials and finishes. While drawing deeply from UA’s heritage, we also sought to go beyond expected cliches of retro design.

The outcome of two recent collaborations between UA and Pull are featured below. OX and Arrow are category-defining devices that have earned outstanding market response as well as TEC Awards for Outstanding Technical Achievement.

I can use OX on the most critical piece of music and be 100% happy. The UA team knocked it out of the park with this genius piece of gear. It’s perfect for the hobbyist in a bedroom, to the highest professional environment, be it studio or stage. Yes, OX is that good!
