Challenge

Pull was tasked with the challenge of developing and testing UX concepts in China and the US on two vehicle types through low to medium fidelity prototypes that would enable customers to understand concepts and contribute to the iteration process.

Scope

Pull played an integral role in conducting ethnographic interviews with respondents in US and European markets, which provided foundational knowledge for subsequent opportunity sessions in the US and China. These sessions ensured robust stakeholder commitment, participation, and alignment across design, marketing, and engineering teams.

Through the development of opportunity territories, Pull collaboratively created UX concepts that were iterated upon with customers in China and the US during co-creation sessions. Co-creation is a technique that Pull utilizes to empower consumers to participate in the design process under the premise that they are the experts of their own lives. Role-playing and simulation allow the participants to fully immerse themselves, allowing for a rich and imaginative process.

Results

Pull analyzed findings gathered in China and the US to further refine concepts and recommend the strongest directions for our client to move forward with.
